We are planning to upgrade our programs and the Claims Portal Visualfiles add-in accordingly and will be releasing these to our customers in time for the proposed go-live date.
We will be sending out notifications to customers with further details and proposed timescales as soon as we have further info from the Claims Portal.
These are the details of the updates we have received from the Claims Portal to date but we will keep you advised of any other changes that become apparent following the update meetings in July.
The changes, the rationale behind the change, who the changes affects, and the purpose of the change:
Making this CNF field uneditibale will ensure cliams are submitted in the organisation name registered to the Portal.
System and process updates required for new data protection regulations.
Ensure alignment between how the Portal handles global offers for web and A2A Users.
Reduce the number of automated notifications to Users.
Introduce a maximum number of attachments to protect system performance.
Align CRU validation for A2A users with that introduced for web Users in 2017.
An additional field recommended by the Insurance Taskforce to share data about the claim referral source with the Insurance Fraud Bureau.
Retention of a claim and its attachements for 12-months from the date a court proceedings pack is created. The attachment history showing when documents are attached or deleted will be retained for the same period of time.
